Celebrations for all age groups had a special meaning this year at Dunmore Park, following a season of massive highs and lows. After suffering catastrophic damages in February following major flooding, the Club was able to pull together and deliver a full season – possibly one of our most successful both on and off the field, with two premierships, FIVE grand final victories and 11 out of 18 of our competitive teams making finals.

We were so happy to be able to highlight the successes we’ve had throughout the year, and to thank our volunteers for the contributions that they have made.

Volunteer Awards

Clubperson of the Year (Phoenix Shield) – Stephen Lindsay

Stephen’s flexibility and commitment to the Club this season is to be admired. Stephen was readily available to assist in clean-up efforts after the flood event, attending as a willing part of the labour force to support the schedule of operations both on weekdays and weekends. Commencing the season as part of the coaching team of our FQPL3 U23 squad, alongside Stephen Matheson, Stephen has further extended his support of the Club, with the pair stepping in to provide stewardship of our premier men’s team, competing in FQPL3, after competing work commitments unfortunately caused the incumbent to stand down from the role mid-season.

Club Community Team of the Year (Muir Shield) – Men’s Over 35 Div 5

This team is one of the most consistently community-minded, with multiple committee members in the current playing cohort, and even more coaches originating from this team. They’re the heart of the club, and always looking out for our best interests and for tangible ways to contribute.
