Current level of restrictions – Some restrictions remain in place in SEQ. See Queensland’s current restrictions for more information.
Toowong FC requires all participants (players, spectators and officials) to:
- Follow all public health directions, especially regarding isolation and testing requirements.
- Stay home if they’re unwell, or had contact with a known or suspected COVID-19 case.
- Practice good personal hygiene at all times.
- Practice physical distancing off-field and wear a mask when required by current restrictions (both indoors and outdoors).
The committee will contact members directly should there be any alterations to this advice, or impacts on particular games or fixtures as circumstances in Queensland change.
Note re. Contact Tracing: From 7 February 2022, use of the Check In Qld app is no longer required (other than for businesses where vaccination is a condition of entry, which isn’t applicable to community sports).
Information for Players
Before training and games, players must:
- Follow all public health directions, especially regarding isolation and testing requirements
- Not attend if they’re unwell, or had contact with a known or suspected COVID-19 case.
At training and games, players must:
- Bring their own drink bottle.
- Practice good personal hygiene – wash/sanitise hands frequently, no spitting etc.
- Practice physical distancing off-field and wear a mask when required by current restrictions (both indoors and outdoors).
Players are not required to wear a mask during training or games.
Information for Parents / Carers
Before training and games, parents/carers must:
- Stay up to date with information from TFC
- Keep in touch with your team coach/manager
- Follow all public health directions, especially regarding isolation and testing requirements
- Not attend if they’ve been unwell, or had contact with a known or suspected COVID-19 case.
At training and games, parents/carers must:
- Practice physical distancing and wear a mask when required by current restrictions (both indoors and outdoors).
Information for Spectators & Visiting Teams
At games, spectators and visiting teams must:
- Follow all public health directions, especially regarding isolation and testing requirements
- Not attend if they’ve been unwell, or had contact with a known or suspected COVID-19 case
- Practice physical distancing off-field and wear a mask when required by current restrictions (both indoors and outdoors).
Information for Coaches
Before training and games, coaches must:
- Be registered as a coach or team official in PlayFootball
- Follow all public health directions, especially regarding isolation and testing requirements
- Not attend if they’ve been unwell, or had contact with a known or suspected COVID-19 case.
At training and games, coaches must:
- Practice good personal hygiene – wash or sanitise hands frequently, no spitting etc.
- Practice physical distancing when off-field and wear a mask when required by current restrictions (both indoors and outdoors).
