Toowong Football Club aims to provide a safe and enjoyable game day experience for all participants with all of our members expected to contribute to the smooth running of matches.
Team responsibilities
Players and parents/carers will assist team officials to carry out these responsibilities on game days.
Before Kick Off
- Assign a Ground Official (GO) – Must be 18+ and wearing high-vis vest, available in the canteen or referee room
- Field Set Up – Set up goals and put corner flags out
During the Game
- Ref Safety & Escorts – GO must escort officials on and off the pitch
- Manage Spectators – Ensure spectators remain off the fields and behind sideline barriers
After the Game

Note for Miniroos games (U8-12): the Saturday Miniroos Coordinator will act as Ground Official, with teams required to set up and pack down fields (no corner flags required).
