Celebrations for the 2026 heralded the end of the season, with the Miniroos & Juniors having a blast at Dunmore Park on Saturday 12 September, followed by our Senior event at Caxton Street Brewing Company on Friday 18 September.
We love highlighting the successes we’ve had throughout the year, both on and off the pitch. Thank you to all of our members for helping to make this year, yet again, our biggest year yet!

Volunteer Awards
Clubperson of the Year (Phoenix Shield) – The Martin Family
James and Marie Martin have both quietly and reliably supported the club for many years, actively participating in all elements of club life (playing, volunteering, parenting, neighbouring) and taking on a broad range of responsibilities, including coaching, managing, working bees, and countless grounds official duties.
Marie has taken on Miniroos coordinator duties this year, where her level-headed counsel has been invaluable. They are always the first with hands up to help, with their enthusiasm for helping spreading across the whole Martin family, with Georgina, Alexander, and Josephine all actively pitching in around the club.
Club Community Team of the Year (Muir Shield) – O30 Women (Curlews) Div 2
This team continues to be vital to club operations, with committee members, canteen coordinator, coaches, managers and working bee helpers across their ranks. Multiple team members also have entire families playing at the club and are supporting the next generation of volunteers (refs, coaches and canteen helpers). The team promotes the Club’s positive culture and is supportive of other members across many age groups and abilities.
