Summer 6s kicking off soon at Toowong FC, and set to be as big as ever! The competition kicks off the week of 6 October 2025 and will run for eight weeks.
Summer 6s is all about providing a fun, fast, social format of the game during the off-season. It involves six players on each team on a modified, smaller pitch. Teams can have a maximum of ten registered players (exemption requests can be sent to sixes@toowongfc.com.au).
Due to the popularity of our summer competitions, there are limited spaces in most competitions and age groups, with returning teams given priority access to team nominations.
All competitions are now full.

What is Summer Sixes?
With a large emphasis on fun, fitness and social benefits that only a team sport can offer, it is suitable for people of all age and skill levels. Summer 6s is perfect for current players who want to keep active over the summer, those who have played but don’t have time to dedicate to a full winter season, and individuals who just want to have some fun with friends. It’s also a great opportunity for new participants to begin playing football in a fun and social setting.

* All participants registered in 2025 for a full FQ fee paying season of outdoor football (e.g. Metro Community Miniroos, Juniors or Seniors) are exempt and do not attract an FQ social player fee. Note: Masters competition players will incur the $35 FQ social player fee for Summer Sixes.
All players must be registered and have paid their fees fully before the competition starts on 6 October. Fees paid after 1 October will attract a $10 late fee.
Play On! vouchers may also be used for Summer Sixes registration, noting that the voucher can only be used once, so you’re unable to utilise the remainder of the voucher amount against other activities. Contact sixes@toowongfc.com.au if you are planning to use a Play On! voucher and we’ll send through instructions for receiving the discount on registration.
How To Register & Pay?
To register for the 2025 Summer 6s, follow the two steps below:
Step 1 – Register a Team
All competitions are now full.
To register your team:
- Fill out the Team Nomination Form (closed) – to be done once, by the Team Manager.
- Team registration close once team registration limits are reached
- Final competition formats and confirmed team places will be released late August/early September – at that point you will receive an email from the Summer Sixes Coordinator stating that your nomination has been successful.
Step 2 – Register to play
Only players associated with a team confirmed to be playing Summer Sixes at Toowong FC in 2025 can register. If unsure, check with your Team Manager prior to registering.
Players who are members of a team will register for Summer Sixes 2025 via Squadi.
Your name will be cross-referenced against the team list provided by your Team Manager.
Player fees are payable per competition, so participation across two competitions (e.g. Open Mixed and Open Women) will require registration and payment for each competition.
Squadi Troubleshooting
- FQ Social Registration fees ($35) are added automatically where a full, applicable FQ winter season registration isn’t associated with the user account. Sometimes duplicate accounts are created, so if that’s inadvertently occurred, Squadi won’t recognise the FQ fee as already being paid. Contact sixes@toowongfc.com.au if you have already incorrectly paid the additional $35, and we can assist in requesting a refund.
- Play On! vouchers must be redeemed via email to sixes@toowongfc.com.au prior to registration. Vouchers can only be used once, so you will not be able to use the remainder of the full voucher value for other registrations.
