BUSINESS 

  1. To confirm the Minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting held on 27 May 2024
  2. To receive the 2024 Report of the President on behalf of the Management Committee 
  3. To receive the Auditor’s and Financial Reports of the Club for the year ending 31 December 2024
  4. To appoint members to the Management Committee for the coming period
  5. To appoint an Auditor for the year ending 31 December 2025

NOMINATIONS 

  1. Any two Members of the Association shall be at liberty to nominate any other Member to serve as an officer or other member of the Management Committee 
  2. All nominations must be in writing and signed by the Member and his/her proposer and seconder on the attached nomination form 
  3. Please ensure valid nomination forms are lodged with the Secretary no later than 11 May 2025 by one the following methods:

  4. A list of candidates’ names, in alphabetical order, with the proposers’ and seconders’ names shall be posted on the Clubhouse Notice Board for at least seven days immediately preceding the Annual General Meeting (from 12 May 2025)

PROXIES 

  1. A Member may vote in person or by proxy or by attorney and shall have one vote. In a secret ballot every Member present in person or by proxy or by attorney or their duly authorised representative shall have one vote. 
  2. A Member has a right to appoint a proxy and that person need not be a Member of the Club. The appointment must be advised to the Club on a proxy form. 
  3. Please ensure that valid proxy forms are received by the secretary no later than 18 May 2025 and delivered by one the following methods:

QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS BY MEMBERS AT THE MEETING 

In accordance with the Associations Incorporation Act 1981 and the Club’s past practice, a reasonable opportunity will be given to Members at the meeting to ask questions of the management committee about, or make comments on, Club matters. Members also have the right to ask questions of the Auditor, to be taken on notice.
