Toowong Football Club would like to offer a massive thank you to our Brisbane Premier League Head Coach Laurie Di Felice and wish him the best of luck as he heads back to his home club AC Carina to take up a coaching opportunity in 2022.
Laurie has spent six seasons at the club and was instrumental in the promotion of our top men’s team from Capital 3 all the way up to the Brisbane Premier League.
TFC President Will Vandenberg thanked Laurie for his time at the Club, noting that while we’re all disappointed that Laurie is farewelling Toowong, “…the reasons for the change speak to some of his wonderful qualities – loyalty, care and prioritisation of family. We will miss Laurie around the club, but he will always be welcome back.”
Our BPL teams will be playing their last home games for the season this Saturday 25 Sept, so head down to Dunmore Park from 5pm to see them take on UQFC and to wish Laurie all the best!
