We are pleased to inform you that we are hosting a Sheffield United Football Academy, 5 day Coaching Camp this year at Toowong FC as a new venue.
The Camp will run over the July School holidays at Toowong FC, Dunmore Park, Cnr Lang Parade & Roy Street, Auchenflower, 4066. The dates are from Monday 9th July to Friday 13th July and times from 09.00am to 12.00noon, a total of 15 hours.
We welcome the following international coaches:
Matt Morley UEFA “A” Licensed Coach
Matt is with the Sheffield United Academy as an Assistant Academy Director. Looking after the U9-U11 Program. Matt has been over several times before, with players attending our camps benefitting from Matt’s experience. He is also an English FA coach Instructor.
Rob Watson UEFA “A” Licensed Coach
Rob comes with a wealth of experience as a Lead Foundation Coach at Barnsley FC. We are pleased to have Rob onboard especially as he brings a wealth of experience to our camps and comes highly recommended from the English FA.
Even though Sheffield United plays in the Championship League, it has one of the most successful Academies in the UK.
They produced Phil Jagielka the Everton Captain, Kyle Walker with Tottenham Hotspur, Kyle Norton with Swansea, both Kyle Walker and Kyle Norton were bought by Tottenham for 15 million pounds as youth players.
Sheffield United are doing well in the Champion League after been promoted 16/17 season, still hoping to make the play offs for the Premier League.
Both our International Coaches will be supported by very experienced Local Junior football development Coaches.
The Camp coaching program is designed to improve the individual player, relative to players specific age groups. We believe, this is an excellent additional, development opportunity for all players attending over the 5 days, the camp is also open to all players from the club and outside the club. The camp is open for all players aged U6 to U17.
For the Goalkeepers Marcus Stockenger will be down to put you through your paces, please note Marcus will only be available at Dalton Park, please do enquire if interested.
